Organic photovoltaic (OPV) solar cells have been actively investigated for a couple of decades and have garnered much interest as an Earth-abundant and low-energy-production renewable energy source. They can be fabricated by using various absorbers to create colored or transparent devices, which make them particularly appealing for building integration.
