PhD Student
Artem Russkikh
KAUST
Interests:
Conjugated Polymers, Direct arylation polymerisation, Organic solar cells
Artem embarked on his chemistry journey in 2012 at Novosibirsk State University (NSU), Russia, pursuing a Bachelor's degree. Following roles as a laboratory assistant in the Inorganic Institute, he transitioned to catalysis in 2015, notably contributing to Gazprom Neft's commercial projects. Artem earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees from NSU in 2018, then pursued a PhD at KAUST. Collaborating with Saudi Aramco, he contributed to research projects and published a patent and several papers. Then, Artem redirected his research interests to conjugated polymer chemistry upon joining Prof. Heeney's group in 2023.
