Clement started his chemistry journey at the University of Rennes (France), where he obtained his Master in Organic Chemistry. Afterward, he enrolled in the MSCA HEL4CHIROLED project as a Research Engineer at Advent Technologies (Greece) and successfully defended his PhD on chiral conjugated polymers in 2024, under the supervision of Jeanne CRASSOUS and Christos CHOCHOS. He then moved to Bordeaux (France) for a year as a Research Associate, working with Adele GAPIN on metal-free syntheses of conjugated polymers. Finally, he joined the group of Martin HEENEY at KAUST (Saudi Arabia) to work on improving the synthesis of conjugated polymers.
