Gokulnath obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Materials from Pusan National University, South Korea, in 2023 under the supervision of Professor Sung-Ho Jin. He then continued his research in the same group as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where he focused on the device physics and engineering of organic semiconductors for photovoltaic applications, with particular emphasis on achieving high efficiency and stability. In 2024, he joined Professor Qiaoqiang Gan’s group at KAUST, where his research centered on integrating passive radiative cooling with optoelectronic devices. Since 2025, he has been a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Heeney Group at KAUST, where he focuses on advancing the use of organic semiconductors for a wide range of optoelectronic applications.
