Postdoctoral Research Associate
Martina Rimmele
Imperial College London
Interests:
Conjugated polymers, Macrocycles, Post-polymerisation modification
Martina received her BSc and MSc from TU Wien (Vienna, Austria) and first joined the Heeney group at Imperial College in 2018, for an Erasmus+ internship, working on conjugated macrocycles. She then continued in the group as a PhD researcher on a scholarship funded by EPSRC. Her work focuses on the synthesis and characterisation of conjugated polymers of low synthetic complexity and post-polymerisation modification. She obtained a PhD in January 2024 and is currently a post-doctoral researcher in the Heeney group at Imperial College London.
