Interests:
Non-fullerene acceptors, Organic semiconductors, Polymer synthesis
Sandeep began his career at MGIAS, Jaipur (India), where he attained his Master’s degree in Organic chemistry in 2012. Following completion of his PhD at CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, in 2018, he joined Prof. Nikos Group in KAUST in 2019. In the Nikos Group, he worked on the synthesis of polymers using various polymerization techniques such as anionic, ring Opening, RAFT and ATRP techniques. Sandeep joined the Heeney Group at KAUST in 2022 and is researching the synthesis of promising non-fullerene acceptors and polymers for phototransistor and organic semiconductor applications. Having recently left the group, he now works for a start-up company in Pune, India.
